Below are descriptors of what each grade level is doing during a given point in the year. Please check back throughout the year to see what new and exciting activities are happening. If you see colored text please click on it for more information.

GRADE 2 - Currently we are finishing up our Pinatas that were begun in Spanish class. Students have been having a blast learing about and using Acryllic paints to decorate their awesome pinatas. This project will carry us into our 3D unit where we will be exploring with paper sculpture, weaving and other 3D materials.

GRADE 3- Currently we are finishing up our Pinatas that were begun in Spanish class. Students have been having a blast learing about and using Acryllic paints to decorate their awesome pinatas. Up next we will be taking a bread from 3D and creating a project to celebrate Black History month.

GRADE 6-8 - We are in full swing with our clay unit. Studens have been working with air dry clay as well as earthenware clay. We have made many comparisons with the given materials and students are totally engrossed in exploration and creativity. To date we have made some clay food, gnome houses and pinch pots.
